Working on more jewelry unboxing videos or should I say playing, it really is a lot of fun. I need to step up the listing though. If you want to try out the jewelry unboxing or unjarring yourself check out my links to my eBay and Esty store in the video description, I sell bags and jars of wearable jewelry.

I have been having such fun with these jewelry bags, jars and boxes from various places online.

Hopefully I can get some of this listed on my etsy and ebay stores this month. I do have an assortment of jewelry bags and jars up on my etsy store now. You can find the link to it in the description bellow the video.

I have started a channel with just my jewelry and thrifting hauls.

In the videos I will be opening jewelry jars, bags and boxes I get from online and thrift stores and eventually I will be taping my thrift store visits. I am still getting used taping, talking and walking at the same time. It is not as easy as you would LOL

CraftingaReality Thrifting Adventures

Lately I have been using my blogspot as just a place marker for my Youtube videos. Making two videos a week has been a little stressful but it is so satisfying because it makes me get out into the studio no matter how up or down my mood is because I feel by telling the audience that I post two videos a week I have made a commitment. I do not want to let the lovely people who have viewed my videos down.

Well now I am ready to commit more time to other aspects of my life including this blog. I created crafting a reality with the idea that a person should not just let life swirl around them but work to craft their life into something they love in the same way they would craft an item to suite there style.

When you have problems with depression and anxiety it is a much harder hill to climb and rest stops along the way are needed. I find though the one week I took a break from the videos was more stressful than restful. This lets me know I have found a good anchor to build my creative life around.

So I am going to commit to posting at least once a week on this blog even if no one sees it the same way I did with my Youtube channel.

So here is a little about me blurb to get going...

I love making art in all forms. I have done glassmaking, printing, pottery, painting, silver smithing and many more. I dabble in a lot of stuff but printmaking and clay are my first loves.

I don't make friends easily but I am loyal. A lot of people who have early abuse situations don't so if you can relate to this don't despair...it is our normal.

My backyard contains a packed full barn building that is my studio that I am in the middle of getting organized. I tried two giveaways on my Youtube channel to pair some stuff down but it was a bust. I think I will try again in a few months.

The major passions in my life after my husband, my friends,  my dogs and art are camping in our RV and thrifting for vintage, retro and  kitschy items and listing them on ebay. I love shopping and found it even more satisfying when I can do it and make a small profit while finding a home for the stuff I love.

I am going to be starting a second Youtube channel next month to show my treasue hunts to all the lovely antique and thrift stores we have in our small towns in Texas. It will probably be a weekly thing but I enjoy those types of channels because it gives me a glimpse of treasures out there to discover.

My little dogs Tina and Sweetie cuddled next to me while I write this on my laptop. The mobile groomer is coming today and boy do they need it.
